Rochdale Hornets Foundation Welcomes New Head of Foundation

Rochdale Hornets Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Charlotte Griffiths as our new Head of Foundation.

Charlotte joins the Hornets community with a passion for using sport as a vehicle for positive change and a wealth of experience in developing community programmes. In this new role, she will lead the Foundation’s work across Rochdale, strengthening the impact of rugby league and expanding opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

As Head of Foundation, Charlotte will oversee projects that promote physical activity, education, health and wellbeing, and social inclusion – continuing the Foundation’s mission to make a real difference both on and off the field.

Charlotte said:

“I’m incredibly excited to join Rochdale Hornets Foundation and to use the values of rugby – teamwork, respect, confidence, resilience, and inclusion – to inspire and empower our community. Sport has a unique ability to bring people together and to open doors for people of all ages. I can’t wait to work alongside volunteers and partners to create even more opportunities for people across Rochdale to get involved, grow and thrive.”

Rochdale Hornets Foundation Chair of Trustees, Mark Wynn, welcomed the appointment, saying:

“We’re thrilled to have Charlotte leading the Foundation. Her energy, expertise and commitment to our town’s communities will help us grow our impact and ensure that the Hornets continue to be a force for good well beyond the rugby pitch.”

The entire Rochdale Hornets family looks forward to supporting Charlotte in this exciting new chapter and in driving the Foundation’s vision for a stronger, more inclusive community.
