WILD AT THE HIVE

Bringing nature, creativity, and community to Balderstone Park

Wild at The Hive is a new project in partnership with HMR Circle, turning the green space around The Hive into a vibrant, welcoming, and wildlife‑friendly space.

Together, we’ll create a space full of colour, buzzing with bees and butterflies, and alive with opportunities to get involved.

How You Can Join In

  • 🛠️ Winter Build Sessions – Help upcycle wooden pallets into raised planters and refurbish benches.

  • 🌸 Spring & Summer Planting Days – Join fellow community members in planting pollinator‑friendly flowers and shrubs.

  • 🎨 Creative Engagement – Work with others to design plaques that explain what’s been planted and why it matters.

  • 🤝 Community Spirit – Take part in activities alongside other people in your community.

Whether you love gardening, enjoy hands‑on projects, or simply want to spend time outdoors with others, Wild at The Hive is for you. To get involved, email charlotte.griffiths@hornetsrugbyleague.com, or drop into The Hive to find out about other activities you could get involved in.
